I just found your site and am enjoying reading the stories. In the picture above of the Relief Society Officers is my great grandmother, Rose Bischoff (not Bishop). She served as president for many years. Shortly after the R.S. building was complete, my great grandfather was called on a mission to Norway leaving Rose at home with 7 children. She worked hard to support themselves while he was gone for 2 1/2 years. Within a year after my great grandfather returned from his mission, Rose died from the Spanish Influenza epidemic of 1918.
